Kind of a "meh" day today. Jon finally got his new computer working after three months--it crashed every time a game loaded. Found out it was a conflict of soundcard drivers. Massive props to Casey from Microexpress. Now Jon is happily killing people.
No mad props to Verizon however. In the past week, they have: given us the DSL they have been insisting for 18 months that they could not give us. Thereby caused Jon's business phone to be disconnected for a week. Insisted they had no idea what was wrong and closed his ticket without actually doing anything. Sent the DSL equipment to the wrong address. Not called him back several times. Been threatened with a lawsuit until they finally reconnected the phone and credited our account for two months of free service. Prompted us to contact the Better Business Bureau for the first time ever. Enraged Jon to the point of incoherence.
But, Dell is being sued and that makes me so happy it almost makes up for it all.
